Things you’ll never hear me say as your personal Nutrition Coach:
❌ “Never miss a Monday!”
Do you know what happens if you miss a Monday at the gym?
Absolutely nothing. You just go on Tuesday. The sky does not fall 🙃.
In The More Than Food Collective, we’ll make workouts separate from your weight loss.
I’ll say that again: Workouts are separate from your weight loss. I’ll show you how to exercise to feel confident and strong in your body.
Just imagine how good it will feel to not ‘have to’ exercise to make up for going out to eat or having pumpkin pie for breakfast on Thanksgiving morning.
Working out will be something you do for energy, cardiovascular health, and confidence — not to ‘burn calories.’
❌ “Don’t eat that, it’s bad for you.”
There are no good or bad foods. Some foods have more nutritional value than others, sure, but it’s all just food.
Labeling certain foods as good or bad puts them on a pedestal. “Oh my gosh, I wish I could have those chips, but they’re SO bad for me!” I mean, chips are great, but do they really deserve *that* kind of power over your thoughts? No. No, they do not.
I’ll find out what foods you like, and together, we’ll come up with a nutrition plan that makes sense for your life and what you enjoy eating.
We won’t remove any foods from your diet, but we will
add more nutritionally dense ones to your plate so you can enjoy
the foods you love and still feel your best.
For example, we won’t remove pasta from your diet, but we might chat about adding a protein and a veggie with it.
❌ “Wing it and eat what your body is asking for.”
Girl, winging it is for that dentist appointment you forgot to add to your calendar, not your wellness goals.
It is the Wild West out here. You can’t go in blind and eat the first thing you grab out of the fridge at mealtimes and expect to feel your best and get results. We’re going to meal plan—loosely.
This is not overly strict, bring-your-own-tupperware-to-the-restaurant kind of planning.
We’ll create a nutrition plan that allows you to enjoy your life
and the people in it while still fueling your body with what it needs to feel amazing and reach your health goals.
❌ “You just have to make this your priority!”
If your goal is to drink more water, and you come to me and say, “I just can’t drink more water!” My advice is NOT going to be, “Well, make it a priority.”
Because – gee, thanks, that was suuuper helpful!
Instead, if you’re not reaching your water intake goal, I’m going to dig deep with you to figure out why.
Are you forgetting to fill your water? Can you set an alarm on your phone to remind you? Can you text a water accountability buddy throughout the day?
I’ll help you solve the root cause of what’s stopping you from reaching
your health goals and give you real solutions, so you start to see that
you actually can do this.

Cheat days are for diets. This is not a diet – it’s a lifestyle that makes sense for you.
